Hey guys,

I'm going on a vacation for a week. (It's actually my 1 year wedding anniversary! Can you believe it? Naw, me neither ;) ). I'm Vegas bound, and since it costs roughly 80 million dollars a day for internet service, I'll probably be incommunicado for most of the week.

Yes I realize I have the handwriting of a 14 year old boy.

So for the first time in a month, I was kidless for the weekend. Mr. Meggie decided I needed to get out of my funk, and go on a ~date~. Of course, his version of a date is usually a bar with a band. Whatevs, I'd rather eat. We ended up in a small town on the Ohio river, called Ripley. Went to a bar that literally floated on the river. So nice! And a lovely view of the sunset. Happy Megan.

Meanwhile, does anyone else ever go to Trip Advisor? Some of the people there are such total d-bags. All they talk about in the Vegas forum is what a skank you are if you don't stay at the Wynn or something. Well, piss on them. I bet they're actually like Comic Book Guy, sitting in front of their computers with Cheetos dust all over their Star Wars shirts.

For myself, yes. I'm entirely too jealous to share the gorgeousness that is my husband with anyone else :D

I think that other people can be polyamorous. My best friend IRL is. I don't think she's meant to be with one person, and enjoys the company, both physically and emotionally, of multiple partners. She's tried many times to make "mainstream" relationships work, and they don't for her. Some people just don't fit the one man/one woman forever mindset, and that's fine. My hope for her is that she finds happiness, whatever form that takes.

Hiya friends. I just have a quick question. Do any of you ship couples out of the mainstream on shows? (For instance: Nick/Greg (CSI), Reid/Prentiss (Criminal Minds), Jane/VanPelt (the Mentalist) ) If you don't, who would you put the secondary characters with on your favorite shows? I am somewhat interested, because my ship has sailed, and good fanfics, icons, and other awesome-ness has dried up. However, I find it hard to stop hanging in the CSI fandom. So, who should I ship now? I'm kinda leaning towards Catherine and Brass :/

I have decided that I want an in-ground pool at my house. Mr. Meggie and I have discussed either putting it in the front yard, or maybe the back.

I know what you're thinking, "wtf, why would you put a pool in your front yard?" Well, it's quite easy to explain. We live on a road that maybe 5 cars travel per day, two of them being ours. We have natural pine tree barriers, so people can't peekaboo at us. And I want to be able to walk out my bedroom door to the pool, haters :P

Meanwhile, wtf is up with the rant section at ytdaw? Aren't you supposed to come in there to bitch? Well, I did, and got yelled at for ranting! Fuck that noise...

I overheard a conversation between my husband and one of his friends. His friend must have said something about him getting married to me, and Mr. Meggie replies (verbatim): "Well, I liked it, so I put a ring on it."


The bigger question, is Mr. Meggie a closet Beyonce fan?
